Control Farming

The Constrol Farming consists on working closely with farmers on buy-back system, in order to achieve the followings:

• Educate farmers on right usage of pesticides/fungicides in terms of quantity, quality & timing.
• Complete monitoring of farming practices right from Sowing to Harvesting.
• Buy back the product at a premium.

Why Control Farming? The Background

The biggest challenge today is changing Food Safety Regulations worldwide. The only way to change this is to change the farming practices at farm level which is a long and tedious task.

The Mechanism of the program

• The team to be headed by an Agri Expert having minimum 10 years of experience.
• A team of Agri graduates (Field Motivators) working at farm level.
• The Aarties of respective areas engaged for selecting the farmers and buying back the produce.
• Field Motivators remain in constant touch with farmers for their daily advisory needs and monitoring.
• The team working under guidance of a Senior Scientist working with Ebro.
